Face Masks

I have not heard of Williamsport making this a requirement for the 1998, and to be honest, with the expense involved to refit EVERY helmet, Williamsport would have to give leagues advanced notice so they can budget appropriately.

In our league, the expense was going to exceed $2,500, and that's a tough pill to swallow. We've been aggressively raising money with the intention of making the face shields mandatory as soon as we can afford it.

Another bonus of the cage mask versus the plastic... It looks like a football helmet, and if your town is as football-crazy as ours, it'll be an easier sell.
