AJ,

It sounds like you already have the work-ethic to be a good player.... That's half the battle when you're 14! Since you have access to a Tee, then I suggest altering your practice a bit. Moving the Tee to a low and inside pitch to a High and Outside Pitch...Change your reps per pitch and put yourself in a "game situation".. I.E. 1 out bottom of the 5th, runner on 1st, you're at bat... You must move the runner to 3rd, so you want to hit to right field... etc... Have fun with it, and when you get to your regular baseball practice, you will be that much ahead of the other players. Also, if you get a chance, why not switch your batting around... Try it from the other side of the plate... This will keep you fresh and your concentration level will go up when batting from your "strong side". Keep up a good attitude, and don't get discouraged by your lack of parental support. Remember, YOU make the difference in your life.. You've got a great start, don't let your environment hold you back. You can be as good as you want to become. Good Luck, and let me know if I've been helpful at all to you. Keep us all informed, We care about you!
