future MLB player?what should I do?

And then let him be a 9 year old... If he's having fun allow him to play as far as he wants to go.

Guide him, talk to him, encourage him, Protect him... Rejoice in him!!!

A gentle push never hurt but a shove will result in different results...

But above all find out as much as you can YOURSELF about baseball. That way you'll know which coaches to trust...

Every coach (most every one) has a gem of wisdom to learn from... Some have more than one.... some may have a lot of "fools gold"... Its up to you to decipher what each coach offers...

Listen to everyone and then decide on your own... Read Books, Go and listen at camps, listen to coaches at the fields... Within time you develop an eye or ear for the good ones versus the not so good ones.

I've been blessed to have been associated with a lot of ex and current major leaguers ... and the one thing they all say... of the 750 or so major leaguers each year, maybe 5 made it there on Natural talent... the rest worked harder than everyone else!!!!!
