PLUS SPEED FOR 11 YR OLD PLAYERS

A couple years ago I was managing a new travel team. We started in the fall and competed as 12U the next spring... I had 49 kids try-out... most LL all-stars... The average time in the 40 yard dash was 6.25 sec The fastest time was 5.70 sec. Anything, around 6.0 or less I would rate as Plus Speed... Home to first.... 70 foot bases.... Anything under 4.0 sec was impressive...
