ALL-STARS

Major Div. ages are 9-12 pg. 5 1999 L.L. rule book. For the purposes of All-Stars, the ages are 9-10 & 11-12 . That's up to state level. Tournament for 11-12 yrs. final goal is the World Series. The reason for the age break down is based on motor skills for kids at certain age groups especially during post season play. This when the best are on the field .Most areas tend to follow this , Some areas may turn a blind eye to this. They might argue that they where 1 or 2 guys short in order to move a player up from a younger div. during post season . Get permission from the board that way your heads not on the block. L.L. has been pretty stern about the age of players. see page 5 of the L.L. Rule book 1999 edition or go to www.littleleague.org
