Pitch location Vs. Speed

By: Gordon
Add to Mixx!

Tom, sounds like you son got a good game. Develope proper mechanics and the speed will come. Use strength training to keep your son in shape, stay loose & flexiable. Location is the key. It does no good to miss your target at 85 mph. Scouts are not always looking for the same thing. You may have heard of times where a scout went to a game to see a up and coming prospect, and ended up with that prospect and another player as well. When strength training be very careful learn and then apply. Be patient .
