With only 3 weeks left in the season, I don't foresee a turn-around but I'll remain positive in hopes that the off-season will provide "healing time".
He went 1 for 7 this weekend with 6 K's...he even bailed in all his bunt attempts.
I don't want the remainder of the season to become a bad experience for him to the point where he gets too discouraged, so even tho I'll still work with him, I'll do so in a less focused manner. Maybe the pressure to correct/change is counter-acting our efforts.
Perhaps diverting attention to his defensive skills and bunting may be the best route to take with what little time we have remaining.
