Cooperstown Baseball World

My son and I went with a team to cooperstown
in june to the 10 year old tourney. Great
facility and very professionally run. Coaches
and players stay in army style barracks with
food to match it. While we were there I
heard 2 rumors going around. 1 was that they
were going to build a new complex for 13 yrs
and older tourneys. All the fields they have
now have the same dimensions;70 ft bases with
50 ft pitching mounds for the 12's and 47 for
the 10's. Maybe that's what you have heard.
The second rumor I heard was that the owner
for the white sox had offered the Presutti
family 13 million dollars for the facility.

I would encourage anyone who's child has an
opportunity to go and play. It's a great
experience.
