In other words, a weak defensive, punch and no judy struggling and rusty hitter.
By: Bear
A strategic and situational hitting technique most predominate in Fastpitch and Amateur Youth Baseball with bases less than 90ft.
A few youth coaches are observed to bring the strategy to the 90 foot diamonds. And after a few years at the 90 ft level, the youth coach begins an attitude adjustment period to find the error in his ways in his slap bunt approach. On a personal note, maybe a handful of throwbacks in baseball are able to properly instruct the slap bunt technique and then equally employ and execute the technique at the proper situation. I associate slap bunting in baseball on the level lower than the hit and run, a sacrafice bunt, and take two and hit to right. In other words, a weak defensive, punch and no judy struggling and rusty hitter. cheers Bear
