My favorite fundraiser - NOT A JUNK E-MAIL!

I'M NOT TRYING TO SELL ANYTHING TO ANYBODY! This is for informational purposes only! We have our Country Store Raffle coming up. It is also sometimes known as a Chinese auction. The way it works is we get a bunch of prizes (over 200 this year!), and sell raffle tickets 3/$1. It is a two-part ticket. You put one part in the can corresponding the prize you want to win, and you keep the other half. After about 60-90 minutes of "shopping", you start drawing winners and distributing prizes. This is a great fundraiser, because not only do you raise $, but a lot of people walk away winners. Word-of-mouth advertising for this event is huge, and now we even get articles in the paper about how popular the event has become.
