Pitching Machines

By: Scott R

Marah,

I have the ATEC Casey II that pitches a wide variety of pitches and up to 95-100 mph.
Its a quality machine, breaks down easily, and rotates for pitching, fly balls, etc.
Usually sells for about $1500 or more.......

Rich is absolutely correct about using the dimpled yellow, orange, or white "machine"
balls. Regular baseballs get the seams grabbed for an irregular pitch......I found that
out quickly with my own team. I use 2 dozen dimpled yellow balls.....about $40.00 a
dozen.

For a really inexpensive machine (doesn't pitch to 90 mph) for practice, look at the
Hitting Streak.....also from ATEC.
