All Star Selection

I think you'll find that you are not limited to choosing your tournament team after the season ends. We have been choosing our Babe Ruth bound team in the first 2-3 weeks of the season. As far as I know, Babe Ruth has no limits on when the team is selected-I'm a board member as well as a tournament coach. Your paperwork may not be due until after your season is over, but you can get the kids together whenever. Leagues in our area, Buffalo, NY, have already been holding indoor workouts and registration hasn't started yet. I would assume your own league is your worst enemy in this issue. When do they choose the manager? How is the team selected? Babe Ruth allows much more latitude for the local leagues than Little League does. I'd look into it if I were you.
