All Star Selection

By: John Horne

My son plays in the Babe Ruth League. We play around 25 games per regular season including pre and post season touraments. We are not allowed to pick all stars until after the last game of the season. This only gives us about 2 weeks to practice before state touraments. There's a league in another part of the state that we have to play in the state. They play only 10 games in the regular season then they become a traveling team and play around 30 or 40 games before the state tourament. They only play the 10 games in the regular season to qualify to play in the Babe Ruth tounament.People this is not a fare way to play baseball and something should be done to change the rules. Thanks, Mad in Meridian
