Who Are You?

Great idea Darrell!!

It's good to finally know alittle more about all the people on this board.

I just turned 34 (I think) earlier this month. I've been happily married to my wife Kim
for 9 years. We have 2 BB players in the family, Jacob 7 and Justin 6, and then
theres my daughter Kirstin 5 (on the 27th) who really runs the family.

We just recently moved to Muncie, IN from Indianapolis. So far things are going
great. The kids love being so close to their grandparents farm, aunts, uncles and
cusins. This is also the little town that doesn't allow girls to play on the boys LL
team (that will change next yr.). There are a few things that I will try to change down
the road, but for now I'll just try to find my place in the community.

I am an applications engineer for Yamazen, Inc., a distributer of CNC machinery in
Indiana. I've been there for about 2 yrs. now and really enjoy the work. Mostly we
sell machines to large companies who pay us to do complete turn-key operations
for them.

I've always been involved with BB in some way. I played through HS and then 2 yrs.
of college ball at a small community school. My wife and I moved to Dayton, OH
shortly after we got married, over there I got involved in mens Fastpitch Softball (not
good enough for the pros and too young for the over 30 league). After we moved back
to Indy, I started a team with some of my HS friends and toted my wife and sons all
over the state every weekend. Now I'm just too out of shape to play anything, SO I
COACH. Both of my boys really love the game, especially my 6 yr. old. He's had a
ball in his hand since before he could walk. When the boys were 4 & 5 we signed
them up in a local league and we've been involved in adminstration, coaching,
fundraising and playing ever since.

My wife and I have really enjoyed reading some of the posts, I wish I had half the
experience some of you have. I'll keep reading and try to gain from your input.

I have this board set as my home page so this is the first thing I read every night.
Thanks for all your help so far, I'm sure I'll need it again.

Sincearly;
Randy
