Difficult Situation

Yes, True But...

What if the parent's coaching is conflicting with the coaches and is confusing the child. I had one father of two boys on my team. He was very dedicated to his sons and worked them (more than they liked) in hitting and pitching quite a bit. I talked with the father and explained to him what I was trying to teach and the drills I was using. He did the same with me. We agreed on certain key words we were going to use, as well as, teaching techniques.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with what the father is doing, as long as what he is doing is not creating a conflict.
