In search of the 20 reasons for coaching Baseball

I have several reasons but one major one that is really important to me. When I was young I had a coach that witnessed to me with his life and his actions when he was around us kids. I was a very strong willed child and probably would have really ended up on the wrong road had it not been for this fine caring gentleman. So besides it being my golf, allowing me to spend time with my own kids, and allowing me to impart knowledge in the one sport I feel qualified to teach it allows me to give some kids a little hope and belief that there are some adults out there that really care. I know this sounds a little corny but it is real for me. I really believe Jon, Bear, Paul, JT, Coach Bob, Kathy, Neil, Al, Single L as well as others on this board accomplish the very same thing for these kids. I would love for my kids to get a chance to play for some of you guys.
