heart protectors- Two Viewpoints

By: Bear

As you know, there are two views.
One view for the males.
The other view of course for the
females.

For the male, I can offer this.

For this site, Wayne, our west coast rep in Palo Alto prefers the most protective gear.

Fo my, in Maryland, I prefers basic
protection. Individual helmets, shoes, cups.

I would suggest getting decent helmets,
or simply requesting those parents
obtaining a batting helmet for their
child. The big league helmet these
days are ABC. Unless grandfathered in,
(not too many left), double flaps are
required now adays. I personnally liked
the shell, that fit inside your cap.
Remember the ol' lil' league 'ear
guards'. Yes, protective head gear has
come a long way. And the best thing is
...the good one work. And today, you
must replace the 'new' ones that crack.

As far as cups. Yes, Yes, Yes. It is
a basic. And shall be worn at all times.
And their are many styles to choose
from, Really. From very very soft, to
bannana with all type of sizes. The deal
is to get the jack strap that goes along
with the cup. Not are all interchangeable.
